We all suffer from the same condition: FOMO. Fear of missing out. Nobody likes to miss out on popular events, but sometimes, we have no choice due to financial restraints or real life responsibilities. This is my first time going to Star Wars Celebration, so I completely understand the pain of fellow fans who are unable to attend because money, time, and distance are an issue. Since we can’t all grab a jetpack and make our way over to Celebration Anaheim, Verizon recently announced that more than 30 hours of Celebration content will be live streamed through StarWars.com.
Starting with the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel 10am PST, Verizon will continue to provide coverage of the four-day event from a specially-designed Star Wars Cantina set located at the heart of exhibition floor.

According to press release, “Verizon and StarWars.com will deliver 30-plus hours of live streamed content following Thursday’s Celebration kick-off, featuring over a dozen panels and events, including discussions with actors Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, Ian McDiarmid, and several other performers associated with the Star Wars saga. Additionally, StarWars.com and Verizon will be live streaming the Star Wars Fan Film Awards; the “Smuggler’s Bounty” radio drama; EA’s new Battlefront videogame; and several other exclusive Celebration events that might otherwise be missed by members from Star Wars’ global fan community.”
The coverage will also include live interviews with celebrity guests as well as exclusive clips that will be made available on demand from Verizon.
The live streaming will begin at 10am PST/1pm EST on Thursday, April 16, over at StarWars.com. The live coverage will end after the closing ceremony on Sunday, April 19, at 3:30pm PST/6:30pm EST. Make sure to catch exclusive highlights and on-demand content from Verizon through Twitter and Facebook.
