Irregular Choice: R2-D2 Heels

Fashion footwear brand Irregular Choice revealed the first of a 14-piece Star Wars collection coming in November 2015. Specializing in unusual and uniquely designed footwear, bags, and accessories, Irregular Choice is a worldwide brand that’s been around for more than 15 years and the shoe selections range between $100 and $230 USD.

According to The Kessel Runway, the collection will include sculpted character heels, as seen with R2-D2 below, and lightsaber heels that light up. A preview of the collection was shown at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.

The following is the original press release unveiled on Force Friday.

May the IRREGULAR CHOICE be with you this winter.

Introducing our phenomenal new collection, our most exciting collaboration to date.

Irregular Choice and Star Wars have teamed up to bring YOU stunning new designs that include all your favourite characters from the original trilogy.

Irregular Choice is known for pushing the boundaries with their extensive range of character heels, but now they’ve taken it to a whole new galaxy far far away. Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Yoda and FLASHING lightsabers with sound effects are just some of the amazing heels and flats which will be available for you to get your hands on this summer, just in time for the release of Star Wars VII The Force Awakens.

Shoe lovers everywhere, we are here to rescue you!

Release date: November 2015

As a fangirl in desperate need of Star Wars footwear, this is wonderful news. There are various sneaker collections being released, but Irregular Choice is one the few–if not, only–footwear brand releasing fashionable Star Wars heels and flats. Looking forward to the rest of the unveiling!
