The Rebels Encounter Predatory Creatures in “The Mystery of Chopper Base”

Chopper has a new friend and from that friendship came a set of coordinates to a new planet called Atollon. It’s devoid of an Imperial presence, so that makes it a perfect place to build a rebel base, right? Wrong. The rebels will soon discover that this planet isn’t as perfect as it seems.

Massive spider-like creatures threaten this rebel operation. Not only do the rebels have to defend themselves from the growing might of the Empire, but they also have to face the harsh environments they come across. Not every world is habitable, as we’ve seen previously in the novel Heir to the Jedi. Luke Skywalker was also tasked with the goal to find a location to build a rebel base, but the planet he happened upon also had scary arachnids that could burrow through skulls. Not really the kind of place you want to call home!

With Rex captured, will Sabine take it upon herself to rescue him and any others that may have been snatched up? And if the creature threat is too great, would the rebels have to head back out and find a new location? With AP-5 now part of the cause, the rebels have access to a wider database of Imperial knowledge and information, so here’s hoping this particular cell of rebels find what they’re looking for and soon.

Find out what happens next when “The Mystery of Chopper Base” airs on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 9PM ET/PT on Disney XD.
