The first 8 comics from the German Star Wars Rebels Magazine are now available in a bound volume, entitled Resistance. The first volume was released on March 21 and it is available for purchase at and Amazon.comJedi-Bibliothek also has a 16-page sample available for download.

Gary Whitta returns to write at least one more episode of Star Wars Rebels, according to a tweet sent out on March 24, where he wrote, “Back at it today. #GetToTheChopper”

Another Funko fan asked, “With all the new Star Wars figures, will we see Star Wars Rebels and/or Clone Wars Pops?” And Funko, once again, confirmed the Star Wars Rebels line.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels composer Kevin Kiner was on a panel at WonderCon 2016 when he announced that the soundtracks for season one and season two of Star Wars Rebels will be officially released.

Disney XD released a series of videos called “Star Wars: One Galaxy” in celebration of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens DVD/Blu-ray coming out on April 5. The videos summarize the story of the Jedi, the stormtroopers, the Rebellion, and Darth Vader using footage from the films, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars Rebels.

LEGO released a TV Spot for The Ghost Microfighter as well as two “Master Your Force” videos featuring Kanan Jarrus (“Imperial Roadblock“) and Ezra Bridger (“Stair Wars“).

io9/Gizmodo debuted an amazing video that told the story of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. The end includes a new line of dialogue from the season two finale that will air on March 30, 2016. The video is also available on YouTube. There are also two season two finale trailers, one of which aired after “The Mystery of Chopper Base” episode. The second trailer features more footage from the finale.

Fantasy Flight Games announced the first Force Pack in the upcoming Opposition cycle for Star Wars: The Card Game called Ancient Rivals. The pack offers a variety of iconic characters, including the heroes and villains of Star Wars Rebels, such as Ahsoka Tano, “Ahsoka Tano (Ancient Rivals, 1123) is an undeniably powerful force on the battlefield, but she doesn’t even need to participate in combat to help you replenish your hand of cards for edge battles.” Also, a reminder that all six X-Wing Wave VIII starship expansions are now available, including the Phantom and Ghost from the Ghost Expansion Pack.

Adrianna Vanderstelt returned with a new piece of Star Wars Rebels art featuring Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Chopper. Priced at $89, the limited edition art is available for purchase at Acme Archives Direct, the official licensee for original fine art.

Taylor Gray will be attending BayouCon Convention from June 24-26, 2016, at Sulphur, LA, while Ashley Eckstein will be attending Emerald City Comicon in April.

Finally, executive producer and supervising director Dave Filoni shared two new drawings focused around Ahsoka’s growth over the years and the highly anticipated confrontation between her and Darth Vader.

Articles and Activities

Lisa Granshaw compiled a list of 13 episodes featuring fan favorite character Ahsoka Tano. She recommends fans watch these particular episodes in preparation for the season two finale on Wednesday, March 20, 2016.

Coffee With Kenobi podcaster Dan Zehr wrote a series of articles focusing on the Ghost crew. Also known as Studying Skywalkers, the column investigates the characters of Ezra and Sabine, Kanan and Hera, and Zeb from an educational and literary perspective.

Jason Fry wrote a piece about the final installment of his book series, The Secret Academy, and a connection it shares with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The team created two Star Wars Rebels quizzes earlier this year. The first came out in January and asked fans whether they were more like Kanan or Ezra. The second quiz came out in February and asked a similar question featuring Zeb and Kallus.

When Star Wars Rebels took a week break earlier in March, the team shared a 10-page activity book with fans to help pass the time. It includes puzzles, drawing challenges, and much more.

Twitter user Alix made the most adorable Loth-cat (left). Riverspoon Studios created highly accurate and incredibly detailed custom Funko POP! figures for Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Kanan Jarrus (center). Artist Melissa Thomas drew up some adorable designs of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels characters (right). They’re currently available for purchase as stickers at Redbubble.


Earlier in February, Hypable’s Michal Schick spoke to Vanessa Marshall about her character’s background story and challenges in the “Homecoming” episode. Marshall also reviewed the episode with the AfterBuzz TV crew and spoke to Twin Suns Transmissions. Dana Jennings over at also interviewed the voice actor about her character leaving a mark in the rebellion, Hera’s family ties, and other memorable moments from the second season of Star Wars Rebels. Finally, both Matt Lanter and Vanessa Marshall joined Kyle Newman and Jimmy Mac in The Franchise Podcast to discuss Revenge of the Sith.

AfterBuzz TV also spoke with Taylor Gray in the episode review of “Shroud of Darkness”, while Dana Jennings at interviewed Gray about his character’s journey throughout the second season so far. Additionally, both Taylor Gray and Vanessa Marshall appeared in an episode of The Great Big Beautiful Podcast.

Back in February, Sean Keane of the New York Daily News interviewed Dave Filoni about Darth Maul. Entertainment Weekly also spoke to Filoni and Sam Witwer regarding Maul’s return.

Since her debut as Princess Leia in Star Wars Rebels, Julie Dolan has been interviewed by and Blabba the Hutt in episode 17 regarding her guest role and her experiences with Star Tours and Disney Infinity.
