Star Wars Celebration Europe is almost here! If you’re planning to attend, make sure to check out the Star Wars pin trading program, “The Star Wars Celebration Europe pin set will feature pins based on the emojis from the official Star Wars app, with 40 unique Star Wars character pins spanning the entire Star Wars galaxy – including some surprise variants.” The set will definitely include Star Wars Rebels characters! Executive producer of Star Wars Rebels, Dave Filoni, visited the National Center for Women & Information Technology to discuss the role of women in Star Wars, from Princess Leia to Ahsoka Tano to Rey.

Dave Filoni also caught the attention of the fans by posting an image of an old Star Wars Legends book. Theories and speculation were tossed around, but the truth won’t be revealed until Star Wars Celebration Europe.

Comics and Books

  • Congratulations to writer Greg Weisman and artist Pepe Larraz for making the New York Times Best Sellers List with Star Wars: Kanan, Vol. 2. The trade paperback is currently available for purchase on Amazon. (via @skleefeld)
  • According to the Simon and Schuster digital catalog, there will be a paperback reprint of Star Wars Rebels: Rebel Journal by Ezra Bridger. (via @GermanJedi)
  • The PR Manager of Disney Publishing Worldwide gave fans a sneak peek at the Ahsoka Tano novel by E.K. Johnston. The novel will be released on October 11, 2016. Please note that the cover is not final. Additionally, Team Ahsoka wrote a great post compiling everything we know so far about the Ahsoka novel.

Toys and Games

  • Want to find out which Star Wars droid you are? Oh My Disney has a fun graphic that will reveal the answer to you, and of course, Chopper is included in the mix!
  • Hasbro increased the points of articulation in their 12-inch line of figures, according to From 4-LOM to Zuckuss. The Fifth Brother Inquisitor, for example, has added ball-joints.
  • If you’re a collector of Star Wars Rebels cards, make sure to check out the Top Trumps packs. These packs have a variety of Star Wars Rebels characters, including Tseebo! This particular card is exclusive to The Entertainer, an independent toy retailer in the UK. (via @UKToyCollector)
  • Jarreau Wimberly recently shared the drawing he did of Kanan Jarrus for Galactic Ambitions, the fifth deluxe expansion for Star Wars: The Card Game.

Fan Creations

  • Kelly Knox at The St{art} Button created a very cute “Thank You” card featuring a Loth-cat. Click through the link to follow the instructions on how to make one yourself.
  • Jen at AAHA is known for creating beautiful OOTDs (outfit of the day) inspired by Star Wars characters. The next character she’s working on is Hera Syndulla! Make sure to follow her Twitter and blog for the latest updates.
  • For the upcoming fan-made project, Michael Moreci gave fellow fans a sneak peek at the cover of the Star Wars story he’s working on:

  • It’s not everyday you see a young fangirl dressed up as Kanan, so this photograph taken by @CosplayFanz is extra special!

  • And of course, there will be plenty of cosplays depicting Kanan’s dramatic change from the season finale. This cosplay by Ian B. really knocked it out of the park!
  • @vagabondartist on Twitter created a series of Star Wars covers, and one of them was Star Wars: A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller.

  • Charles Tan created a beautiful fan cover of the Star Wars Fanzine that’s currently in the process of being made. Here’s the latest update regarding that project, “At this time, we have gone to printers and are now waiting for proofs and the production process. Once we receive the printed fanzines and start the shipping process, we will update you again. We predict this will be around late-June/early July.”

  • Twitter user Courtney Morelock (@CEMorelock) created these adorable keychains featuring some of our favorite Star Wars Rebels characters. When asked if she was selling them, she said, “Sadly, these ones are spoken for! But if they do go online I will post about it!”


  • Last month, Dave Filoni mentioned in an interview that he would be interested in having Ewan McGregor voice Obi-Wan Kenobi if given the opportunity. Read this article for more information.
  • Coffee With Kenobi spoke to the voice of Kanan Jarrus, Freddie Prinze, Jr., about his role in the season two finale.
  • Freddie Prinze, Jr., also spoke with AOL BUILD about his latest cook book and he even wore the Her Universe shirt featuring Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano.
