Star Wars had a great presence at this year’s Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con. Three of the 27 designers were inspired by Star Wars: The Force Awakens characters, specifically Captain Phasma, General Hux, and Kylo Ren.

Ashley Eckstein also wore a Star Wars inspired garment created by renowned LEGO artist and designer Nathan Sawaya. Sawaya collaborated with Eckstein’s hostess gown designer, Andrew MacLaine, and together, they used Dave Filoni’s art of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars Rebels to create Ahsoka’s image on the dress. The drawing is also featured on this ThinkGeek shirt.

Jen Blanchard from Opus Beauty helped give Eckstein’s hair the Ahsoka Tano look by braiding it with blue colored extensions.
The mannequins at the Foyer wore pieces from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens fashion collection from Hot Topic and Her Universe. That collection was designed by Kelly Cercone and Leetal Platt, and both of their winning designs from last year’s Her Universe Fashion Show were also displayed beside the Star Wars fashion collection.
The Her Universe Fashion Show 2016 will premiere on Comic-Con HQ on Thursday, July 28. Fans will be able to select a third winner from home, so if one of your favorite designs was a Star Wars inspired look, then keep a close eye on Comic-Con HQ and Her Universe for voting instructions and updates.
