General
- Lucasfilm Animation is looking for a Production Coordinator to join the Star Wars Rebels team. If you meet the qualifications and you’re interested, head on over to Lucasfilm Recruitment to apply today!
- Dave Filoni designed a special Darth Vader themed jersey for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey team. You can read more about it here.
- While at Star Wars Day at Sea, Bryan Young mentioned that Ashley Eckstein had asked Dave Filoni what she could say in regards to Ahsoka’s future on Star Wars Rebels. She said that Ahsoka has a future and that’s pretty much all she can say at this time.
- Star Wars HQ posted a video about what we might see in the future in regards to the outcome between Vader and Ahsoka’s duel. Here’s the video’s description: Freddie Prinze, Jr., the actor who plays Kanan, recently revealed that yes, we will eventually find out what happened to Ahsoka Tano after her battle against Darth Vader. Find out what he says in this video! The question is: will we find out in Star Wars Rebels season 3 or will it be in a movie, other upcoming TV series, comic book?
- Freddie Prinze, Jr., has his own podcast. It’s called Prinze and the Wolf. Here’s a description: “Prinze and The Wolf” is a podcast with Freddie Prinze, Jr., and comedian Josh Wolf that will cover everything from parenting, to MMA, to pop culture, to gaming. to cooking…you name it! With Freddie’s wealth of experiences/stories and Josh’s quick sense of humor, no topic is taboo and there are definitely no “safe spaces” on this show.

- A new comic book series featuring Maul will be released on February 1. The series will be written by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Luke Ross. Read StarWars.com’s interview with the creators and head on over to Marvel.com to read another interview with Cullen Bunn.
- Sarah Michelle Gellar, who voiced the Seventh Sister in the second season, will be releasing a new cook book in April, Stirring Up Fun with Food: Over 115 Simple, Delicious Ways to Be Creative in the Kitchen.
Games, Toys, and Other Merchandise
- Star Wars Rebels is the theme for the Smuggler’s Bounty box coming in March! Read more about it here. Here are two teaser’s leading up to the release:
- It looks like Funko is planning on another Sabine Pop! figure. They wrote in a tweet,”We definitely have plans for Bodhi. And Sabine!”
- According to the Funko blog, three exclusive Star Wars Rebels Pop!s are coming to Walmart in early February: The Inquisitor, Seventh Sister, and Fifth Brother (see photos below).
- Star Wars: Force Arena is now available in the App Store for iPhone and iPad and through Google Play for Android devices. In the game, you can play as Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren, and many more. Head on over to StarWars.com to read an interview with lead producer Kristoffer Bergqvist.
- Fantasy Flight Games proudly announced three new figure packs for Imperial Assault, and one of the packs includes Hera Syndulla and Chopper!

- Star Wars Destinies, a fan webcomic by TWG’s Elisa Ardell, is back! You can find new pages of the Ahsok/Slick/Dogma-focused story over at Tumblr.
