Her Universe recently unveiled a new Wonder Woman fashion collection, but if your fandom resides in a galaxy far, far away, you’ll be excited to know that the fangirl lifestyle brand will be bringing more cute and adorable Star Wars apparel later this summer and fall to the Disney Parks.
“To be a designer now for Disney Parks is truly a dream come true,” Ashley Eckstein said at the Disney Parks Merchandising panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando back in April. “Disney was actually the very first retailer that gave Her Universe a shot.”
Upcoming products includes a sleeveless Tatooine Dress with a sweetheart neckline and an Endor Tank that were mentioned in a past episode of Galactic Fashion.
Ashley Eckstein had received samples of the AT-AT Poodle Skirt and the Star Wars Cardigan just before Celebration and wore the skirt and matching cardigan during the panel, and needless to say, they looked beautiful!
The BB-8 Cold-Shoulder Raglan, Jacket, and Poodle Skirt will be coming out later this fall.
“I’m kind of in love with the poodle skirts right now,” Eckstein said. “Girls, I’m feeling you with Dapper Day. We need more Star Wars stuff for Dapper Day! So I had to get the BB-8 version this skirt.”
A new Rey Jacket will also be coming out this fall.
“I love the vest that Rey is wearing at the end of [The Force Awakens], but then wanted to kind of merge it with her costume, so this is very much an inspired by piece,” said Eckstein.
In addition to seeing more fashion designs, we’ll also be seeing more everyday designs, like the “May the Force” Varsity V-neck T-shirt that’s currently available at HerUniverse.com.
Make sure to keep your eyes open for these stylish new dresses, skirts, jackets, and shirts, especially when we get closer to Force Friday on September 1, 2017.
