‘Forces of Destiny’ Short #8: Bounty of Trouble

The choices we make. The actions we take. Moments, both big and small, shape us into forces of destiny.

The first wave of Forces of Destiny shorts comes to an end with “Bounty of Trouble,” where Senator Leia Organa and Sabine Wren are on a secret mission to provide the Rebellion with important information regarding Imperial base locations.

Several things made this short exciting, including the fact that it takes place before “A Princess on Lothal,” so when we see Leia later on in Star Wars Rebels, she and Sabine already know each other due to the events that took place on Garel. We also see an appearance of the widely known bounty hunter IG-88 and the return of Sabine’s colorful explosions. And of course, it was great to just see these two young women—the leaders of the future—working together in order to achieve a common goal. Both demonstrated how they are more than capable of getting the job done and thinking quick on their toes in the process.

“Bounty of Trouble” also reemphasizes that every person in the Rebellion has a role to play. Whether it’s on the outside on the front lines or on the inside under a guise, it’s important to stick to the one’s role because one false move can put an entire operation in jeopardy.
