SDCC 2017: The Business of Geek Fashion Panel

Freelance writer Lisa Granshaw brought key players from the geek fashion industry together for a 4th year in a row at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the partnerships that have surfaced over the past year and the future of geek fashion.

Do you ever wonder how a geeky fashion line is created or how companies form partnerships for collections? This panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the business of geek fashion. Moderated by Lisa Granshaw, panelists Ed Labay (Hot Topic), Ashley Eckstein (Her Universe), Symantha Perrera (ThinkGeek Denver), Allison Cimino (RockLove Jewelry), Sean Gailey (J!NX), and Tony Kim (Hero Within) will discuss the big changes that occurred in the industry over the last year, how partnerships are formed and grown, where the industry is going next, and more.

Granshaw also announced a new venture she’s starting called GeekFold!
