Living That Con Life: Three Must-Have Products From ReedPOP Supply Co.

One of the most common ways to express your love of something involves clothes and accessories. When I open my drawers and closet, more than 85 percent of what I own has some geeky element to it. Whether it’s a shirt, jacket, or bag, I always feel this need to wave my geek flag proudly.

My first New York Comic Con right after graduate school was when I finally started to embrace that geeky side of myself, and it’s been an amazing ride since then. So when ReedPOP Supply Co. sent a call out for fans who love to express themselves with geeky attire, I answered.

Here’s a few products you should check out for yourself:

New York Comic Con 2017 Retro T-Shirt | $25

New York Comic Con is one of my favorite conventions to attend. Not only is it always jam-packed with a variety of content, but it’s also my hometown con. Every year, ReedPOP releases new NYCC themed merchandise and this 2017 shirt in particular caught my eye. I love the retro font and colors against the brown background, and as a Star Wars fan (who always needs to bring it back to Star Wars), it also gave me that 70s Star Wars vibe.

To complete the look, I paired the shirt together with a black pair of pants, my lace-up boots from Lane Bryant, and my Jyn Erso Jacket from Musterbrand. Needless to say, I totally felt groovy!

Her Universe’s Ultimate Convention Hoodie | $60

Ashley Eckstein, Ahsoka Tano, Her Universe. All three have been an integral part of the Star Wars and geek communities, so when Her Universe put a specially made hoodie out there for fans to use at conventions, the correct response is “I need it.” And trust me, you will want this hoodie not just for conventions but for a variety of other occasions.

Let’s start with the fact that this sweater has more pockets than a billiard table. There’s two chest pockets, two kangaroo pockets, two hip pockets, two sleeve pockets, and two back pockets. You can store your phone and other essentials in several places, and some pockets are long enough to store poster tubes. At the end of the day, it’ll also keep you warm, especially when the air conditioning is on full blast.

Pair this up with your favorite graphic t-shirt, a dark pair of jeans, and bright colored Converse shoes, and you’re good to go!

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 Troopers Emoji Pin Set | $25

Nothing gets me more excited than getting a brand new set of enamel pins. Whether you attach them to your jacket or backpack, enamel pins are the perfect way to express your fandom.

The troopers of Star Wars are such an iconic aspect of the galaxy far, far away, and I love that each one represents a different trilogy. My favorite from the bunch is the Clone Trooper, since Star Wars: The Clone Wars helped flesh out the different and individual personalities of the clones.

If you’re looking to beef up your enamel pin collection, do so by checking out ReedPOP Supply Co. You can still get the Star Wars Rebels 4-pack, the Original Trilogy 4-pack, and the Lobot pin.
