Her Universe Fashion Show Panel Descriptions for WonderCon 2018

Her Universe, in collaboration with Hot Topic and Cartoon Network, will be returning to WonderCon Anaheim this year to encourage young designers to pursue their dreams and reveal the latest updates regarding the all-new Hot Topic fashion collection designed by the winners of the 2017 Her Universe Fashion Show.

In past years, the theme of the collection was unveiled at WonderCon, but for the first time, the theme was announced during the Fashion Show last summer. Since then, the designers have been working on apparel inspired by the Disney Princesses.

The 2017 Her Universe Fashion Show had three winners: Rose Ivy (Judges Pick), Lindsay Meesak Orndorff (Judges Pick), and Grace Johnston (Audience Pick).

The winners in 2016 designed a Wonder Woman collection and the 2015 winners created a line inspired by Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so it’s both intriguing and unusual that the next collection is not focused on an upcoming blockbuster film. Hot Topic has designed and released several Disney Princess inspired garments in the past, so it’ll be interesting to see what the HUFS designers will do differently.

Here are the three main Her Universe panels that will be at this year’s WonderCon:
