Sideshow Sound Radio sat down to talk with the composer of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, Kevin Kiner.
Over the years, Kiner has been praised for his skill and ingenuity as a composer. Before I fell in love with his music on The Clone Wars and Rebels, Kiner had worked on a variety of projects, but the one that’s closest to my heart is Stargate SG-1.
Kiner spoke about his involvement with the Star Wars universe, specifically how he was brought onto the animated series, as well as working with George Lucas and much more.
“I’m not on Facebook, and I’m not on Twitter or anything like that. I never read any reviews because either good or bad, I try to just keep myself a little grounded or whatever you want to say because those are things I can’t control that. I can only do a good a job as I can do, but every once in a while, the publicity department from Lucasfilm will send me 10 or 12 quotes with people raving about the music. And I understand the music is really, really well-received in both Clone Wars and Rebels, and I’m grateful that the fans and everybody recognize that it’s a precious thing to me.”
